ah the crash pad such a nice idea. The first time I tried in the gunks I picked a nice small boulder and within 5 minutes fell off it. It was above the path so I picked up some good speed and rolled right out into the middle of the path like a clumsy wombat. And some young girl was walking by desperately trying to pretend she hadn't seen me ... :)
HAHAHA! I can just image a girl trying to ignore ya. That's hilarious... Oh look there's a squirrel over there...
Absolutely need a crash pad, or else you die! Plus I have a bad knee, so I have to be really careful with how I fall. Don't want to mess it up again.
Yes! :) She was rubbing her eyes too :)
True that! it was a bit absurd...although I eventually found a horizontal crack system a few feet from the ground to work the finger strength in...back and forth...back and forth etc.
Ah wow. Yes very important...it's a real vulnerability problem when you hurt a spot. I am struggling with a strained hip flexor now but it should be okay in a few weeks.
Oh no! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Injuries are really the worst! I'm learning dance right now and it's always so hard for me to turn or make quick movements!
Thanks! :) Agreed-they are :/ Ah :(. Dance will help ultimately but you have to be careful about passive stretching...more emphasis on using the antagonist muscles to stretch the muscles you are trying to get more extension in...(eg. tendu and battement more than than barre stretch).
yea that's true. I actually just injured my shoulder today. Really bummed about it because I can't do acroyoga until it heals. :(
Arggh...very sorry.:( Hope you heal up fast.
me too! :) thank you. hoping for the best.
