Many of us suffer from annoying headaches, which worries their comfort and flattens their bodies .
They go to doctors and the hospitals and take the medicines but have no benefit .
So I would like to explain in this article some of the important things that cause headaches and are overlooked by many .
Of course, in modern medicine about 200 types of headaches have been identified, but most of them are anonymous .
First we will explain some common types of headaches and we will mention some of their causes, and then we will remind you some of the causes or malpractices that lead to headaches in general .
Common Headaches and causes of each type :
1_ Migraine: it is a strong headache that is particularly prevalent among women three times as much as men, its main causes are changes in hormones, stress, sleep and eating habits, The most important medicines to treat it are:
( Acetaminophen, I profen, Triptan medicines such as Emetrex and Zomig ).
2_ Cluster headache: it is a very painful headache that comes in one side of the head for between 15 minutes and up to 3 hours. This type is very common among men, this headache occurs regularly and may recur for several days and then disappear for a period of time, it may be accompanied by redness and tears in the eyes. The main causes of this headache are the evil of alcohol, smoking, fear of the highlands and the treatment of some types of drugs. It can be treated with the following medications:
( Triptan or Oxygen ).
3_ Tension headache: it is the most common type of headache that makes you feel pain and pressure on both sides of the head, or on the back of the head and neck. It is not a severe headache but with time it may become chronic. It is treated with the following drugs:
( I profen, Aspirin, Acetaminophen, In addition to comfort and stay away from stress ).
Some other types of headache:
_ Dental headache.
_ Caffeine headache.
_ Orgasm headache.
_ Early morning headache.
_ Sinus headache.
_ Ice cream headache.
In general, there are some causes of headaches, but many of us do not know or do not expect to be the cause of the headaches. When you feel a headache, I advise you to review these reasons and try to avoid them before you ask your doctor to help you :
1_ Lack of drinking water may be the main cause of headaches, so do not forget to drink enough amounts of it.
2_ Lack of sleep inevitably leads to headaches, so you should sleep early enough.
3_ Heavy work stress, pressure of study and anxiety cause you headaches, So you should minimize stress and take adequate rest.
4_ Wrong eating habits and lack of a proper diet may be an additional cause of headaches.
