This is exactly what I have been struggling with lately. I'm a university student and the school system here in the Czech republic makes it very hard for one to express his own creativity. I find it very hard for me to devote most of my free time to studying stuff that I only write once in a test and then forget and never use again.
I really enjoyed the TED talk. One should look at events from the priority perspective.
