Very cool! I noticed a puzzle background in two of the pictures. Are those part of the painting, or is the art/canvas on top of a separate background?

Glad you like it. It is part of the painting, i've done four or five pieces with painted puzzles for the background recently. I'll be doing some more in the future for sure!
