yes, you make good points, but most experts consider AI to be a pretty big potential threat
the pandemic i was referring to was a human created one
nano is a threat only if it's linked with AI
which leaves nukes as the dud, I sort of agree there, unless all 15000 go off and make the planet uninhabitable at all, it's unlikely that a small fraction of humans won't survive

Thanks for posting a well written point of view. As a Prepper, I'm always interested in end-of-the world articles. Currently, I don't worry too much about AI, but you're right. Somewhere over the horizon it could become selfaware. But space aliens could pose just as much risk. Don't laugh too hard at me, but I've seen UFOs. And there are either space aliens or the military has developed some terrifying aircraft... Actually, I think I'm more concerned about Washington's military "intelligence" than I am of some spooky "artificial intelligence"..
