Jeez Scotty that a good piece and so so sad. I've been there man and you question your actions and words at the time.....forever.
Sadly you have to accept that there was probably nothing you could have done otherwise it eats away at you.

Thanks for reading. It means a great deal. At the time it was devastating and I did self-medicate to help me get through it. To be honest, I don't remember much around that time and it also threw me into some dark and depressed times of my life. There wasn't much I could have done but sharing it here means it meant something.
