We have born and brought up in society, where we were prepared to compete with others - your fellow mates and friends.
The seed had planted when you were at school. The pressure of scoring highest marks, the pressure of performing well in sports, the weight of getting admission into a renown college, getting a good job and again getting into an unhealthy competition at the workplace.
Does that sound familiar to you - Are we in that competition?
We need to be authentic, feel what our heart desires and learn from the vulnerabilities
I have been practicing meditation over six months. It teaches me compassion and generosity. It made me realize, life is not after all chasing things. Rather, life should be to find our dreams.
How does this feel?
Liberating!
I discovered joy and happiness in little things. I forgot to aim for the finishing line and overburden with worries about competing with others. I defined my success, my life odyssey, in my terms.
There is no race.
Life always shows us that when we get to the end of something, we will be happy, complete, satisfied and successful.
We need to reach the milestone which will open the gateway to happiness.
We often think, "Well, I have completed this job now. I have done well at my workplace, but I don't feel the thrill. Maybe, once we complete the next stage, I will feel that moment of my life."
But, do we ever get to that point? Are we just chasing for infinite desire and continuous finishing line?
The only way to win the race of life is to realize that, there is no race.
Winning has to be from within us. We need to find happiness within ourselves.
True satisfaction can only be observed from inside.
When we can be alone with ourselves, be at peace, and feel a deeper connection, we feel the vast connection with ourselves- And that's what it matters in life.
Running towards the next fulfillment will never be able to find peace in life.
It will only lead us distant away from what we’re hoping to feel.
