I do wonder if the world would be healthier if we got rid of doctors and pharma and replaced them with healthy eating, exercise and meditation. Healthcare is anything but. It is an industry that thrives on sickness and doeesn't care.

Well i don't mind to have some doctors, because we can meditate or do exercise what we want, but when we got a broken leg.... then we need a doctor.
You feel me :)
But yes a more healthy part in our society would not hurt anyone, in fact it would create creativity and we would thrive more in our society.
The nature walks is perfect against depression, and healthy food is only good for our body, and meditation is the training of the mind, what would lead to a stronger person, who will be more creative.
Because he will do all the things what will create dopamine.
But noooooooooo ... the companies want more and more until people drop dead on work, or they have to go home and stay sick.
That only costs companies a fortune, to pay for sick workers who can't even work. So they got sick from work, and then stay home for five years or something. While the boss keep paying every month.
To me that's just stupid.
If the focus would be more on the health of the people, then that would lead to a more creative and stronger worker, who will make sure the company will thrive to success.
And thanks for your comment!
Yes I absolutely agree with you. Doctors are of course important. But western health needs to become more holistic.
I agree, iv studied Buddhism for years and learned about the ancient Asian traditions.
And i think the Western world could learn much from them.
How some doctors or "wise man" treat people is a complete other ball game.
And i also learned that our mind plays a key role with our state of mind or illness, and Ancient religions know more about healing the mind then those so called "doctors".
Like those mental hospitals here? They dont need doctor , they need a monk or a guru, who will come with all those things from nature.
Like in primitive cultures, they don't have those mental diseases like what we got here in the Western world.
They use nature and ancient methods to cure the sick. Like how Columbus brought the Western diseases to America, should raise a question.... why were there no western diseases in America?
Could it be that the western world create diseases because of the way they lived!
Then we should change the way we live, and turn back to live hand in hand with nature...
That also means, we have to stop our jobs and search for another way to live and that is something, what the elite would never aloud.
You should create a post about that.
Lol yeah, while writing i thought, i could might as well write a post about it.
But then again, this is just my talking my friend :)
Imagine if we would drink a beer lol..
Put it in a post and share it with the steem world. Someone else might take something positive from it.
Ive had a couple of beers with some good friends tonight - what better medicine ;-)
Indeed your right, il think about it.
Thanks for the motivation my friend.
And enjoy your evening with your friends!
But do not drive.
Cheers
All doctors are not like that....
Yes I do agree with you. There are many excellent doctors. It is the practice of western medicine that needs to be re-examined.
yes exactly...i appriciate your view
