I really don't understand how people use these products without feeling creeped out. Microsoft recall is just blatant surveillance. Last week I saw the recommendation from the USG that people use encrypted apps to text, and that rattled around in my head for a bit, because LEA's complain really hard when they can't get info off someone's phone because it's encrypted. It wasn't until I watched Braxman's explanation on the AI assistant that these things clicked together for me. I guess I just dismiss voice commands and Alexa and stuff out of hand because I know these things are security nightmares, so didn't give them more thought until Rob laid it out, but it's a pretty scary scenario.
I really miss my old dumb phone sometimes.
Thanks!
