Anxiety sometimes comes in many forms, some unseen and misunderstood.
There are a lot of things that cause anxiety, so many that I will not mention them here due to their vast amount.
In this article I will share some everyday techniques to release the grip of anxiety.
1.Taking a Shower
Anxiety gathers in our body, mainly on a cellular level. It's not only created by our mind.
Taking a hot shower allows us to mellow down, letting us relax and take a breath. The only issue with hot showers is that they lower our energy so we may relax, this is done as our bodies try to cool down, wasting energy to vent the heat.
A cold shower on the other hand will boost our energy as it triggers the survival fight or flight instinct, releasing some dopamine to sharpen our focus, diverting energy from our internal dialogue to better spread it towards heating up our bodies.
One can pick based on type of anxiety.
2.Eating Heavy Food
This might sound strange, I was quite skeptical myself when I first heard about it but trust me it really does work.
Eating heavy foods means our bodies use more energy to process it, therefore our thought process lowers as the body focuses on the digestive system.
This isn't a permanent solution but honestly it does do the trick when faced with hard times.
This is why girls eat ice cream when they are depressed :D
3. Abstractions
This is one of the most easiest and most fulfilling things one can do to deal with anxiety, finding some abstract things to do as the day passes, like watching a movie or having some meaningless conversations with friends, just for the laughs. Although in some extensive cases these things don't help much, they are better suited for anxieties thst are related to external sources. For inner issues id recommend abusing the showers and heavy foods until one reaches a resolution.
4.Focus
When one is faced with inner issues he will try to indulge in them, making things a tad complicated. Focusing on external actions helps refine our focus towards a more extroverted expression. Finding a hobby or finding things to do is the key towards achieving this. I personally forget about everything when i put my focus on doing something, sadly if the issue is severe it will probably re surface in our consciousness once we put aside our hobbies.
5. Meditation
Meditation is the ultimate tool to heal almost everything which is on a mental and emotional level. It's like letting go and allowing the universe to heal your soul. Meditation has helped me in so many aspects in life. Honestly I don't know why meditation isn't practiced on a mass scale. It can cure addictions, stress, anxiety and much more.
Thanks for reading and I hope some of these methods help you find peace.

My next article about anxiety will be with an esoteric overview.
Be Free
These are all great ways to relieve stress! I never knew about how our body reacts to a hot shower. People always say the shower wakes them up in the morning... I might try a cold shower if i'm really tried one morning! Thanks!
Man a cold shower kicks me into overdrive😰❄️. Specially in thr summer. And thank you for stopping by to leave a comment :)
I mostly do the shower and the meditation ones :) it definitely helps!
I believe point 4 can best contribute towards improving the situation in the long term. Absorbing oneself into some particular type of work that can also improve some aspect of one's life situation is probably the best. This could either be a productive hobby of some sort (side business, personal finance, volunteering, etc) or by taking on more responsibilities at one's regular job, assuming the source of anxiety is not work overload.
Another related thing that can help is physical exercise. An hour at the gym will definitely redirect resources from the otherwise constant worrying. It may also improve ones confidence and, indirectly, success in other areas of life.
Yeah should have added excercise too.. It's a great outlet honestly
