Mutton Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
Mutton pieces
Cabbage
Carrots
Green pepper
Onions
Potatoes
Salt, curry, paprika, chicken spice, dried herbs,
Tomato sauce
Roasted onion sauce
Garlic cloves
Garlic butter
Knorr Mutton & veggie mixed with a brown onion soup pack. Half/Half. You can say wat u want but these packs help, the trick is to integrate them into the meal so it just doesn't taste of Knorr.
Method:
Boil mutton until tender with salt and garlic only. Once soft, remove and boil all veggies in the now salted Mutton stock. Or to save time, boil it all together then remove the mutton. In another pot, add butter, onions and the mutton, fry/brown it, season with chicken spice and paprika. Fry until nicely browned. Now add everything to the boiled veggies with curry and herbs. Add water if its almost done. Let it cook for awhile so the veggies soak up the yummy fat from the mutton. Now make a paste with the knorr, tomato sauce and roast onion sauce (remember there is plenty of water already from the veggies) add to pot, lower heat and allow to slow cook and thicken. If mutton is lean, add a spoonful of the garlic butter for extra love
