My Failure
So about 23 days ago, I upped the ante for my monthly challenge of posting every single day. Poor me. It was my choice though obviously, I believe its important to take responsibility of my own choices. One could make excuses, I had exams, I work, I have class, but I don't go to classes and I definitely have enough time to get two twenty minute posts out on a daily basis.
Here is the specific post that I blew off basically.

So What Made Me Stop?
Complacency, Laziness, Lack of Motivation, Video Games for sure, Working out, Making Doh.
This is a little sad to me. As only 40 - 60 minutes would be used for writing on Steem, yet I chose to spend my time differently. I have been making some extra money on a side stream of income, so that is a plus. However, it should not interfere with goals that I have planned related to this platform.
Waaaah, poor me. But really, lets cut this out and get back to succeeding!
Back to Success!
Alright cool, we fell down. In pole-vaulting, a lot of times I had to attempt to jump with a longer pole. This was intimidating to try the first time, but imagine having to go again after a risky jump. I've seen my teammate throw himself into the standards (metal holders for vaulting bar). I even have had to recover mid air from a fall away from the mat. We fell, we failed, but we ATTEMPTED. Then we had to do it again, with more confidence than before. This is the plan to overcome the failure. Not too hard.
Some people use different methods for coming back. I would recommend to reset the difficulty and back track a tad in order to allow yourself to pick up momentum. Through this prior failure, we will definitely be more focused on the goal at hand now, because it will be more actively thought about. Some react better to a different route, this may be punishing yourself a little for your poor take of action. In swimming, many times after doing a flip turn in the shallow end, I would stop, stand up and bounce once or twice and then cannon myself back into my stroke. This was a bad habit that I wanted to overcome, so every time I did it I would make myself do an extra yardage. Sooner or later, I got my entire relay to start using a negative reinforcement for doing this action, as I was not the only one. We would slap each other in the face if we failed to not continuously swim.
There are so many lessons in life, they are simply hidden in the dirt a little. Dig for those gems, but be careful because digging for diamonds is dangerous.
Goals for the week
I made an initial long term goal for the past month. I failed, so now I will focus more on the micro level. Today I will focus on getting out two posts, an additional one after this. I will post twice tomorrow then. I plan to focus on every single day, only each day at a time for a week. Extension will come with success, along with intensity.

Never Stop Steeming, like I had....Steem on you Hooligans!
How do you have something to write about every single day? I mean you must have so many ideas, I'd be so interested where you get them from. Sometimes I struggle to post one article a week even
I looked at your profile and I love your profiles intent. My lady and I would love to do exactly what you're doing. We're on our way :D
My brain seems to fire in a more diverse manner. A lot more of my neurons fire when a single one is fired. I have looked into it heavily. It may have something to do with a psychological term called lower latent inhibition. This allows the brain to accept more stimuli that would typically be tuned out in order to conserve energy and focus. Some may say ADD kids are this way.
I would like to get it up to about five posts a day. I enjoy writing and thinking philosophically, I would love to be paid to be a professional thinker, and Steem allows that opportunity!
Thanks for commenting!
With every failure, we learn a new lesson about success. I wish you the best @varignon. Let's be bigger - Steem on and God speed!!
Hey thanks Luxx! I'd really love to see you do some nature sketching, being a microbiologist and all!
Oh really! I'll surely do that in my next sketch. Thanks for the suggestion.
Regards ☺
Ok, now move forward and Steem On!
YEAH!!! YARGGG
Same here :) I was such a steemit-enthusm and had the plan to post more articles. So I worked for a new science-based article and have needed two weeks. Two weeks of absence here on steemit. Now my article is finished and published and now I start writing posts for steemit with new and a lot of motivation. Wish you success and power.
AND: cool articles, I will follow you :)
