Everybody wants attention. Correction: Everybody needs attention. Don't deny it. If you feel like you have too much attention already, try picturing a day without it. I assure you, you will feel isolated. However, this is not an article for people who get attention. This is for people who don't.
This is usually helpful when you're in a group discussion or a team playing test. You are evaluated on your content knowledge as well as how you present it. More than anything, you need to grab the attention of everyone in the room.
There are 3 simple ways to grab everyone's attention.
1. Increase your volume
I am not asking you to shout, but the volume of your voice indicates how confident you are of what you are speaking. Try to be firm on your thoughts and if people prove you wrong, then you can humbly accept your fault. However, this will bring people's attention to your words. And that is invaluable.
2. Be facially expressive
Facial expression is another major factor on how seriously people take you. People who speak loud without fluently expressing themselves have a very limited period of everyone's attention. You need to convey your emotion through your face and voice, so that they are intrigued by the emotions of your words, and not just want you say.
3. Listen to people
Try to understand what the focus is on, within the room right now. Understand the scenario and whatever you think, speak loud and confidently. You need to speak only in your turn. Try to minimize the times you interrupt someone, because that makes you look like an attention seeker.

I have a high pitch voice, I am facially expressive and sometimes I do listen to people.. but still don't get attention...
People always feel what they have is less than what they deserve. Let me assure you, if you have a high pitch voice, you grab attention quickly. The key is to retain it. If you talk a lot always expressive, attention to that person doesn't last long. You need talk when needed and listen to people otherwise. That way, you'll always find your opinion valued. *exceptions of course, if you hang out with people who don't care.
