People generally shrink from improvement because improvement is change. And very few people like change despite change being the only constant in our lives.
People like the familiar stuff. The familiar is well mapped and people feel well adjusted to it. There is a sense of certainty to the familiar. Change however draws us into a world of uncertainties to which we are neither prepared for nor are even slightly adjusted for.
Whether we like change or not, life always keeps demanding transformation. We can either drive the transformation or simply watch it happen to us. Because either way, change will come!
