We humans are great beings. We've invented amazing technologies and connected the world using these technological advances, we've built complex political systems, have applied laws to encourage diversity of sex, race and sexual tendencies, have thriving entertainment businesses including sports, music and cinema. However despite these advances we still have large populations who live with little to no food nor fresh water, the planet being in a state of near environmental collapse, and are breeding billions of animals only to hold them captive in dire conditions, torturing and eventually killing them only to exploit their bodily parts as if they were mere objects.

Sentience (Wikipedia):
Sentience is the capacity to feel, perceive or experience subjectively.

True, humans are far more intelligent than animals, but when you explore other impressive traits - we do share quite a lot - the ability to feel, think for ourselves, bond, create friendships, families and communities, love, and the ability to feel pain or joy.

It is truly the right time for us to wake up to these simple yet powerful truths and embrace our fellow non-human animals, treating them with respect, compassion and kindness. There are no good enough reasons for us to tolerate what's going on, and we have the total power over what is going to happen to animals in the future. How? By choosing to go vegan!
