Reasons why you should ride a motorcycle
All of us at some point in time have seen some type of motorcycle riding or sharing the road with us. Some of us have heard stories from friends or the Internet about riding motorcycles. Some of us even daydream about riding and owning a motorcycle. If even for a second you thought about riding a motorcycle, you should pursue that and check it out.
Here are few reasons why to ride a motorcycle:
1) It’s peaceful – Riding the open road acts as a form of meditation that could help clear your mind of anything. I find myself riding a lot to help clear my mind and allow me to really think about issues that are bothering me or to help make important decisions. I also use riding to help calm my nerves, I was nervous on my wedding day so I took a ride and it really helped to calm my nerves.
2) Not expensive – motorcycles are relatively cheap for the amount that they offer. They are a great form of transportation that is cheap and affordable. There are 300cc bikes that are $5k or less and great on gas. They are cheap to maintain and even cheaper to insure. The first bike that I owned was a 250cc that I purchased for 3k and insurance was $22.00 a month.
3) Easy learning curve – motorcycles are very easy to learn to ride. Most new riders get the hang of a motorcycle and its clutch and less then day. I learned how to ride a motorcycle before I learn how to drive a manual transmission car and it took me about 2 hours to get the hang of a motorcycle that’s simply how easy it is.
4) Commuting – the commute to and from work or anywhere really becomes a lot easier and loads more fun. I commute a lot to work on my bike and sometimes it makes taking the long way to work a lot more fun and even more fun taking the longer way home.
5) Scenery – when you’re riding through valleys and along coastal beaches the scenery is amazing. Riding in a car and not compare to what you see what you’re riding a bike.
6) Freedom – when you’re riding it’s just you and the bike, the peacefulness of riding clears your head of anything and you feel more alive when you ride.
7) Types - There are bikes out there for all types of people, personalities, tastes and styles. There is one out there for you, you just got to look and test them to get the perfect one.
These are just a few of the reasons why I decided to start riding motorcycles. I am glad I learned to ride as can not picture myself without a bike. I encourage everyone to learn how to ride as it is one of the greatest feelings in the world and it’s a life style. Just like mine was, a motorcycle can change your life. You will feel more alive then you ever have your senses seem to get heightened by the thrill and connection that you have to the road and what around you. Consider letting a motorcycle in to your life and you will not be disappointed.
Very great words man! Really enjoyed it! I hope I can get a motorcycle very soon.
