My nephew and niece looked so excited modsudu.

Modsudu is a Kadazan ethnic (in Borneo) language means lighting-up a fire to cook something or boil a water.

My sister taught them basic survival skills, in case there is no gas for cooking in the Kampung (village). I remembered when I was a kid, where back when gas stove cooker was not invented yet, we used to modsudu to cook our meal.

Then, after oil stove was invented, we used it for like few years.

The evolution of the stove then continue to make our life easier. However, the price of one gas tank day by day is getting more and more expensive.

Come to think of it, we might go back to our roots, that is modsudu to sustain the cost of living someday!

Thank you for reading my post.

Oooo .. I remember this . My grandfather used to let me help him light it up 😀😀🤣🤣🤣

Sekarang saya masih Guna oh hehehe

Basic survival kan...who know...nanti habis suda gas kita .. Alternatively we can use the biogas. Our company is sending staff to Sri Lanka for this next month.

I remember this back in the kampung. My uncle used this method to cook everything.
I remember it needs big space. Because space is so precious, most just using gas.
We use an electric stove. Hehe

Iya kan...I forgot to mention electrical gas pula.

Electric stove. Iya. Hehehe

Bring back old memories while I was still a kid. Try to light the fire by blowing air through a metal road, gosh still remember how bad it is when the ashes go into my eyes!

Ya...bring back memories kan..
