I thought coffee would help, it didn’t.

Coffee seemed like a grand idea until some asshole upstairs decided to start practicing the trumpet.

@vermillionfox was in the zone sketching but @kommienezuspadt was not having it. We packed up our bags, arrived back home and I saw a complete flip in productivity. The fox lost her second wind and started to slowly crumble until she was left in a fetal position. Things got worse when she discovered that the 90 minute documentary she had just finished watching turned out to be a ‘mockumentary’. Apparently it’s the new trend.

List your favorite or most hated mockumentaries below!

Told in the style of a news report, The War Game garnered incredible amounts of controversy well before it aired — and it didn't end up seeing the light of day on the BBC until 20 years after it was made. It's a highly realistic (and thus, incredibly unsettling) look at a Soviet nuclear attack on Britain. Think of it as War of the Worlds but with an actual looming threat instead of aliens.

I know the director of that film (Peter Watkins). He lives in our small town, here in central France!

How lucky are you.

Oooh. Very cool.

I’ll have to check it out.

I think hearing from a coffee doctor is also not good for our health. But in terms of other coffee is very famous in my country and a lot of people like to drink coffee. I myself also like to drink coffee when I work a lot until late at night I always drink coffee. Is it in your country as well. thank you

I’m actually not too big on coffee. I just drink it every now and then. Mostly when it’s offered. I prefer tea.

The first one I saw was, this is Spinal Tap. It's old now but still really funny.

Never heard of it. What’s that about?

It's about an old rock band. a camera crew follows them about documentary style.

Blair Witch Project....I hated it because everyone around me was like....OMG, BWP is soo real and scary - you gotta see it! Me: STFU....You want terror? How about facing a job loss, house forclosure, a divorce...all in 6 months...

Yeah, that’s a pretty intense reality check. Never been into the BWP. They made a sequel and it was just as bad.

Wait, you're not at Caffetto!? Yet someone is actually playing the trumpet. How is this happening?

Lol, last night. We found out that it’s Brent’s friend.

Oh yeah, that's Easy. Sweet guy. He is currently without a home, and thus unfortunately without a practice space, so we're trying to do what we can to help him get through this winter. I will agree that there are few things in life more distracting than an out of context trumpet though.

Yeah, we found out today.

The 24 hour news cycle.

Ahh... I think I’ll stick to my podcasts.

I did not like This Is Spinal Tap although everyone loves it! I just couldn’t get into it.

What’s that about? Should I feel bad for not knowing what that is??

It’s a mockumentary on a rock band. A cult classic really but I was meh about it although it does have its moments.

My favorite, however, is Best in Show & some find it ridiculous lol

YES! I was about to suggest Best in Show as well. By far my favorite mockumentary I've watched. Very comedic. 😄

Such a good flick right!

Aaaaw is so cute :3

Good job my friend.
Thanks for sharing.
