I am sure that work will pay off! I look at my garden now and think aw, its all cold and wind blasted. I only get the chance to sit out in it for a few months of the year!
Scottish gardens must be harsh environments, especially when you're not a blob, like your boss. I now understand why you drink your whisky there, to warm up ;<)
