That's a very thoughtful story to ponder about. You must be very grateful for this opportunities to have occured in your life, that when many others don't even dream to be nearby the position you are/were at that moment. Maybe that is your ''lottery miracle'' after all . Now considering all this, i believe you really started to plant your 'tree' years and years ago, and only now it started to bear tangible 'fruits' . Nevertheless, the lesson is indeed powerful, of which the best year to plant a tree is, the present year. With all that in mind, live in the moment and be kind to eachother. But not to forget, as Robin Williams once said: ''There's a time for daring and there's a time for caution, and a wise man understands which is called for''.

Not every tree will bear tangible fruit in our limied life time. It is still good to plant a tree that could make us happier for a lifetime. Just as we admire the ancestors who planted the elms before our doors. They have been bearing the fruit of joy and beauty a hundred years.
