Self-esteem is equal to appreciating yourself for who you are. It’s acknowledgement of your strengths and weaknesses.
People with a good and healthy self-esteem are able to feel good about themselves for who they are.
You can increase your self-esteem by following these tips:
Stop the cycle of negative thinking about yourself. If you keep telling yourself that you are not good, you will start to believe it.
It’s great that you want to do things well but you need to be realistic because perfection simply doesn’t exist. Instead, get to your smaller goals and move on from each one.
Remember, mistakes are an opportunity for learning.
Try to know yourself. It is not just about knowing your strengths and weaknesses, but also opening yourself up to new opportunities.
People become the people they’ve always wanted to become, by taking risks and trying things they didn’t ordinarily do.
Do things you enjoy: fun and relaxation will help you to think positively
Be helpful for someone else
My last advice: stop comparing yourself to others, because these comparisons are unfair. You don’t know as much as you think you do about other people.
