Diet and Walking. Exercises if you want to save your mussels.

I've lost 12 kg from 82 to 70 just moderating what falls into my stomach for 3 years. Yes that was long road. But last 6 kg I've lost in 6 months by adhering to the protein diet and walking for at least 40 minutes every day.
I've tried to squeeze myself at the gym, but the appetite only get stronger.
Also consider to calculate you calories. Average person burns about 2k calories for daily activities. While 1 hour workout could burn for about 400 c.
In the end the main goal is to eat less calories than you spend. Making daily 500 deficit will make that, not fast but right.
