You have described, in a very polite and precise language what I call 'getting stuck in a rut'. In the olden days, when they used oxen to run a grinding mill, the oxen went round and round mindlessly. When you have outgrown your current situation, that is what it gets like - isn't it?
I had gotten stuck in 'being successful executive' rut. Thought I was doing great but in the end, it all came down to the same goals every year! LOL So stepped back. Found Steemit and now I do wildlife blogs! I request you to visit sometime if you feel inclined.@kaylinart -
