So, my rating of foods for weight loss:
Green tea - increases metabolic rate, increases heat in the body due to the delayed processing of fats, lowers sugar level in blood. There is a small trick - if the green tea to add a bit of skim milk (not more than 0.5%), it will enhance the diuretic effect and fluid from the body will appear faster, this is a good prevention against swelling. For weight loss recommended to drink 3-4 cups of tea a day, but I drink less, 2-3 cups, and the rest get water.
2 Water for weight loss you need to drink a lot of water. I already gave recommendations for the consumption of water per day, but if you lose weight, then the norm should be increased to 30 kg of body weight to drink 1 liter of water per day. With this amount of water consumption it would be more efficient to excrete the products of breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, to speed up biochemical processes. I heard about good results of weight loss on a water diet, but I think that it is better to find your balance of nutrition and exercise to maintain yourself in shape.
3 Our traditional vegetables (spinach, asparagus, celery, carrots, cucumbers, beets, cabbage, broccoli, bell pepper, parsley) contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, potassium, folic acid, fiber. However, many vegetables contain low calories, making them an ideal product for weight loss. Legumes contain a lot of protein, they can successfully replace meat. About these products I will share in one of next posts.
4 Raspberry. Recently I read a small study that raspberry helps with weight loss because of the enzymes that promote fat burning. It argues that the use of half a Cup of berries 30 minutes before meals, activated oxygen and lipid metabolism, which helps a lot when losing weight. But people with allergies and diseased kidneys raspberry contraindicated, before use, consult your doctor.
5 Grapefruit (orange, Mandarin) - contains vitamins A, B, D, P, sodium, essential oils, antioxidants and pectin. Pectin lowers blood cholesterol, prevents the absorption of some toxic substances. Under the influence of pectin digestion will be more complete, and therefore the body to saturate enough less food. Citrus fruits reduce the blood sugar levels and affect fat burning. Eat grapefruit, you may also like raspberries - half an hour before meals, preferably entirely from the interlobar film.
6 Pineapple - it includes vitamins a, B1, B2, B12, C, PP, iron, potassium, magnesium, iodine and other nutrients, including "an enzyme harmony" bromelain. It is believed that bromelain promotes weight loss, but accurate information of this property I found. We can say only that bromelain improves the breakdown and absorption of proteins, i.e. it influences the metabolism of fat indirectly. Pineapple has a high acidity, so it can't eat on an empty stomach even healthy people and in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract or people with diseased kidneys it is better not to eat.
