I'll try to answer the most easy to understand words.
People must internalize the understanding that life is continuous and endless process.
Liberation is a mental state, which helps to overcome the causes and effects of suffering. After all, our thoughts, our feelings, and entire body, are in a continuous process of change. Such a process means that in this existence can not be that there is no "I" or ego. After gaining such experience, the person ceases to feel himself a constant target and no longer sees the suffering personal. So he's no longer living in the "residual" principle: lived for 50 years, so there may still 30, he lived for 60 years thinking that he was to live 20. These thoughts just disappear. He lives always!
Enlightenment – this is the second and final step to liberation. The mind feels its possibilities, which are shown by themselves, all efforts disappear. In practice, one feels the constant joy from real life.
Of course, it's a long way. But the way is the goal. Such practices exist in every religion. Naturally, these classes have been predefined for me the fact of my birth in your environment. And it's not important age-specific practices.
In October 2011, I took the First level of obligations referred to in Buddhism as Genin, that is, a secular person, which is committed to the community of life to do 5 taboos or vows:
Not to kill.
No lie.
Not to steal.
Not to commit adultery.
Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicating substances.
These obligations will lead to all the rest. In principle, this age-old, biblical, concepts, bequeathed to the man all the world faiths. The difference in my case is that the community vouch for Genin.
If the Genin would violate these obligations, then with it falls the entire community. Thus Genin and community in response to each other. It is quite a powerful Esprit de corps, which violate these community obligations.
I think that after such commitments, the person may engage in any other practices, revitalizing his spirits and body.
Personally, I chose shamatha – the taming of the mind. No taming this Bouncing in all directions monkeys, called mind, it is impossible to practice qigong, and all that helps a person to restore the health of mind and body.
About this practice I will tell in the next post.
Almost all the teachings and religions of the world there is a system and hierarchy, the violation of which will never lead to desired results, whatever the will and spirit of man towards the attainment of a harmonious body form.
