Community-driven projects and engagements are essential elements for fostering a sustainable development in any society or nation across the world especially when it pertains to reaching out to the unreached and serving the underserved. A platform that simply helps is all they need to become sustainable based on the resources they already have at hand.

If ventures that would not only bring profit to corporate entities but primarily foster the development of communities are created, communities will not only be sustainable but also reach out to other communities around them to become sustainable like them. For any community development project, the primary profit should be the sustainability of the communities beofre other kinds of profit follow.

All the communities need is a PLATFORM THAT HELPS and the idea is to scout for these kinds of communities and make research on what they have as resources, what they need (their challenges) and cross reference these two to create sustainable solutions to the problems the communities are encountering.

Any individual or corporation willing to be responsible for establishing these community-driven ventures based on my search, must run it between 2-3 years before shifting the core responsibilities of running the venture to the community. You can call this Socio-Capitalism or Communal Capitalism because it combines the operations of Capitalism, Socialism, Communalism and even Philanthropy.

The idea is not to make the communities expert consumers but experts in any venture that the resources they have within their locality could afford to start. Communal Capitalism is when individuals, corporate entities and communities work together to establish a venture that would be driven by the community for the purpose of generating both revenue and employments for the dwellers of the community.

In the end, the community will take over the Venture Operations while the individuals or corporations involved may still have some percentage in the venture’s stake for 7-8 years before the venture becomes the community’s sole responsibility. This is so that they can come in whenever they are needed in case of any situation that may arise in the future.

Although the creation of the ventures depends on the resources and needs of the community, the major areas of focus are: Technology, Health and Education. We regard these areas as non-negotiable and very essential for the sustainable development of any community.

Do you even know that community development project should be our main aim in this country, knowing too that it's part of the sustainable development goals (SDG).
Such project tends to start with the community thereby has no end and are sustainable in itself, sad, such project aren't common here.
