TRUMP lawyer brokered $130,000 to a porn star

in #life7 years ago

A report released by The Wall Street Journal has revealed that President Donald Trump’s lawyer allegedly brokered a $130,000 payment to a porn star after she threatened to publicize the sexual encounter.

Donald Trump met Stormy Daniels – real name, Stephanie Clifford – in 2006 at a celebrity golf event that took place in Lake Tahoe. This incidence occurred one year after Mr. Trump’s marriage to Melania, his wife. In the fall of 2016, Stephanie Clifford went into talks with ABC News regarding a story which involved a supposed affair with the President.

But she got an excellent deal to the tune of $130,000 which stopped her from going public. This deal was alleged to have taken place one month before election.

Stephanie Clifford had also reportedly been involved with discussions with an online magazine known as Slate, according to the Friday edition of The New York Times. The editor-in-chief of the Slate Group, Jacob Weisberg, informed the Times that Stephanie had opened up to him regarding her affair with Trump.

The Journal reported Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime lawyer, was said to have brokered this deal through Keith Davidson, Clifford’s attorney.

But Cohen, in a statement to the Journal, did nothing to address his active participation in the alleged negotiation but claimed that Trump refutes or denies any form of involvement with Clifford. Cohen vehemently denies that a sexual encounter took place between his client and the porn star. It’s worth noting here that Clifford had previously denied all allegations about a relationship with Mr. President.

The Journal also received a statement from Michael Cohen, signed by ‘Stormy Daniels’ – Stephanie’s stage name that she bears in films – in which the porn actress negated the claim that she had received a lump sum of money to keep quiet.

CNN is yet to confirm the report publicized by The Wall Street Journal. But in a statement to one of America’s largest news networks, Cohen claims that this is just one of many rumors that have been in circulation time and time again since 2011.

He reiterated that President Donald Trump denies any such incident as has Ms. Daniels. It is also worth noting that Michael Cohen, who has been one of the President’s most trusted supporters, is presently no longer in contact with Trump. This development occurred as a result of the Russian investigations in which Michael Cohen is deeply enmeshed.

An official from the White House who spoke on the condition of anonymity also corroborated Cohen’s claims that the report is old and recycled that were publicized but strongly refuted before the U.S. elections.

Cohen also pointed an accusing finger at The Wall Street Journal for spreading a fabricated and untrue narrative for more than a year. It would be recalled that a few days to the elections in 2016, there was a story published by the Journal which involved a passionate supporter of Trump named David Pecker who runs the National Enquirer.
