We wanted share this auction to show others what Whizzer motorized bicyle and Whizzer parts, along with other bikes and bike parts are worth. Don't pass this kind of stuff by when you are at a garage estate sales or at auctions. You will be surprised how much they bring. Do your research on bike and bike parts, many are highly collectible.
It was an honor to be able to witness this auction and meet many other Whizzer collectors across the country. I wish we had the opportunity to meet and talk with the gentleman who owned this collection and worked on the Whizzer motorized bike. The passion and the knowledge and volume of parts and collectibles reflects his passion! He was a trusted resource of knowledge in the Whizzer community.
We bought 6 bikes, 2 boxes of parts, fenders, forks, spokes, rims, tires, and few Wizzer parts in the box, a section of the garage that had many specialized tools and an entire room in the basement that was filled with various tools, parts, vintage kitchenware, books, and other various items. From the 1:04 to the 1:40 was a few items we bought. Plus other non-bicycle related items. We also bought repair booklets for every type of tube radios, tube TV's, record players, and other various vintage repair manuals. A collection that we will refer to and use often.
