My understanding is Ecuador has one that is $25k and you literally invest it, either in a bank, a business or buying property with that much taxable value.
Don't have a reference for that, but I remember hearing about it when I was traveling.

Maybe you mean not citizenship by investment, because it looks like you have to hold something in a bank in order to get a citizenship. It's just a regular procedure. For example, Paraguay has one. Of course, I'm not sure about Ecuador, maybe you're right
