It's hard to believe there's no way to prosecute this computer crime or reverse charges for what was obviously fraud, but I'm sure you've already looked into all possibilities.

Thanks and yes. We turned it in to the Atty General's Office, but the guy lives in India so... I don't think they's extradite just for a little fraud. It's hard enough to try to trace them... they're not stupid when it comes to using fake IP addresses and things like that.
It sounds like this would be a lot more complicated than reversing a fraudulent charge on a credit card. Damn.
What happens to the person you're living with if you're unable to remain living where you are?
He has some completely insane woman who will pay to live here... My feeling is that he'll lose everything! As far as the other goes- they cleaned out his bank accounts. The bank never caught it until it was too late.
You never realize just how many people are insane until you become a landlord. I swear to god, just where does these people come from?
