Very interesting post. As I have been growing older I have been questioning everything. Psychology and Skepticism have become a huge interest of mine in figuring out why people think what they do and why they believe things without researching them and forming their own opinion. Some don't seem to know any better so they just go along with the crowd. Others, as you say, are afraid to be different in case they alienate friends or families. And many are just plain too lazy to think for themselves. I hope this post opens some people's eyes.
