This year on April I was in Istanbul and I tried to start exploring the city with classy Istanbul ferries. I was so luck finding a seat in the open area. While ferry was moving slowly, I saw lots of seagulls hovering and waiting for you to feed them. In that moment, I bought a Turkish bagel (simit) to throw them with the small pieces. One of them caught it from my hand :) It was an amazing time for me to feed them with my hand. Once you have done feeding them, you should buy a simit for yourself and enjoy it with Turkish tea.
