Our bodies are designed to obtain Vitamin D when our bare skin is exposed to sunlight. When the sunlight touches our skin, a reaction takes place where skin cells are enabled to produce Vitamin D. Your body needs Vitamin D in order to promote bone growth and to absorb calcium. Fragile and brittle bones, muscle weakness or fatigue result to the lack of Vitamin D. Therefore, it is healthy to spend an enough amount of time in direct sun, about 10 minutes. However, too much time in the sun could be bad for you. Spend just the right amount of time in the sun.
Very good topic, Yes it is true the vitamin D is very important and the worst thing is that this vitamin can only be taken natural from the sun. Other types of vitamin D intake are synthetic and will not give your body what it needs,
Good Post, keep up the good work
I've started taking vitamin D supplements as I am concerned that man made cloud (homogenitus) is blocking some of the UVB radiation which needs to reach the skin for Vitamin D to be produced. I can't remember the last time I saw a clear blue sky and sun that wasn't obscured by haze. I think that levels of Vitamin D in the bodies of people worldwide have been dropping due to an ongoing Geoengineering program (either deliberate or as a result of man made cloud from industry and planes).
A friend of mine had her vitamin D levels tested and was told that the recommended levels are set deliberately low so that people think they are getting enough when they are not.
The increased levels of disease, weakness we see could be a result of a reduced amounts of UBV radiation reaching the earths surface.
