I caught this super vibrant sunfish in a little creek on my father's property today. As I bent down to release it, a pointy beige rock caught my eye. I found my first Texas arrowhead! Some resarch led me to believe this style of arrowhead was made 3 to 6 thousand years ago by hunter gatherers. Its interesting to think that this tool helped feed some of the original Texans thousands of years ago.
That's kickass!
Thanks! I'm just happy that I found it on private land. Its illegal to pick up ones you find on public land.
How nice to have private access to a fishing spot. I'm jealous!
