I visited Budapest after a long time, and I took a few photos, because the spring is beautiful, even in the capital city of my country (Hungary).
Of course, the current political situation is not so. I mean the war between Ukraine and Russia, and its consequences. And you can see related signs to this even on the train station.

I currently do not know where is the Help Point, but I heard that a lot of people from Ukraine already received a lot of help.
I was born in Budapest. If I think about Budapest, then I have rather pleasant (or at least neutral) memories about it, but I understand that recently hunders of thousands of people came here, because they are escaping from the war, so this situation is rather unpleasant for them, even if they receive every help they need. Many people lost their homes in Ukraine because of the war. This is very sad.
Libri (book store) next to the train station building. I have not seen the above mentioned transfer buses, nor refugees. Maybe all of them were on their way.
The Corvin Pláza and its neighborhood.
There are many graffities on the walls and on the buildings, but other than this, this neighborhood is clean, and the spring is beautiful.
I saw the Grillchicken "building" near the Corvin Pláza, but I have not tried it. Maybe next time. Or not. The food (and most things in general) in Budapest is usually much more expensive than in the countryside.
I have not spent much time in Budapest today. I walked a few streets in 10-15 minutes, and this is all for today.

Heard it is a nice city and my Budapest friend urged me to do the boat on the Danube at nighttime.
Budapest has its beauties. That is certain. But I very rarely went out in the city in the night, so I currently do not really have any night experience in it. Once I was on something like a hydrofoil on the Danube, but that was in the daytime.
