The trick to #1 is to try to look at the color of their eyes. When doing so, we feel comfortable while maintaining a strong eye contact. Also, I usually go for the left eye!
And about #4, I forget names in the first 5 seconds itself lol.
#5 definitely is painful to watch xD
As for #2, well, I've got nothing haha.

Why the left though? :P
yeah, #5 is really cringy. Especially if you are the one doing it! lol
Just try it! The result was obtained after rigorous trial and errors with tons of research and development. lol
(btw their left eye)
I do the time-tested 'hands in pockets' if I've no support while standing to avoid #5 from happening!
haha ok will give it a try and come up with new data that we can cross reference :P
I have found that folding your arms can be a really good position to talk as well. I've found it more useful than 'hands in pockets'
Haha sure.
Folding our arms is seen as a defensive posture though - but it sure feels quite comfortable! You'll notice that when the other person does so, you'll feel like they're disagreeing with your words. Have you ever experienced that?
I guess the most harmless way would be to 'stand at ease'.
Back to our school days!
I agree. Folding your arms and also putting your hands in pockets are both considered defensive postures. haha yeah, I have experience that too :D
I don't like standing in the 'stand at ease' position. I usually have one hand over the other and listen intently.
Yep.
The 'stand at ease' does feel very formal doesn't it haha! One hand over the other is good; better than crossing them!
Yeah it does! Yeah that’s what most people do :)
