CAN YOU BLAME SOMEONE FOR YOUR SUCCESS?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Have you ever thought of blaming someone for your successes?

People just blame about anything or anybody inbsight. They blame their parents, the economy, their teachers, the weather, the government, their watches, their cars and literally everything in sight.

When you blame and criticize others, you are avoiding some truth about yourself.

The world is full of blamers who are always pointing accusing fingers at people, things and events that are "responsible" for their misfortunes and failures.

Strangely, you hardly hear of people blaming others for their successes. Most often, they prefer to make all the rest when things go well. They tell anybody who cares to listen how intelligent and handworking they are.

Most people are too proud to credit someone else for their successes.

Just think of these, it was your parent's fault to give birth to you or else you will not be where you are today. Where will you be if they had aborted you? They certainly deserve a good blame. Its your teacher's fault to instruct you by teaching you want you didn't know.

You are responsible for your life, you can't keep blaming someone else for your dysfunction. Life is about keep moving on.

Why criticize them for their many mistakes and shortcomings? If you must play the blame game, blame them rather for their meaningful and positive contributions to your life.

Just think of all those wonderful people, friends, relations, co-workers, spiritual leaders, neighbours and a host of others

some of whom you may never know or meet.

Who gave you a helping hand in one way or the other. Have you been magnanimous enough to ever blame them for that?

Remember, failure or success is a function of the choices you make and the people who make you. The next time you feel the urge to blame, find someone to blame for your successes.

Nice change of perspective. I recently read Malcolm Gladwells' "Outliers: The Story of Success" which investigates exactly this statement at one point - we are influenced, inspired, touched, supported by so many people throughout our life that being successful is never solely the result of our performance only. We can be very grateful for all the individuals who helped us to get where we are!

the blame game has been paramount with human, most people refuse to fault themselves even when they are at fault they always tend to look for someone to put the blame on. when you always blame others for misfortunes u hardly grow
