Turns out it's not just Joey’s Tailor.
Infact, not just Joey >>>Tribbiani’s<<< tailor.
Case in Point: The time I got my friends Jane & Fred's wedding outfits custom-made.
They were in a pickle …….and on a budget. SO as scary as it is to promise someone their wedding outfits - I took up the job. That's right! I stepped up! They're my friends and they needed help. If I had to, I'd pee on anyone'a them too.
Anywho..
For their reception Jane & Fred wanted more colorful Bollywood-inspired outfits.
My friend Joey (short for Jaswinder) suggested his legendary tailor who he'd known for 15 years.
Jane gave us a picture of the exact dress she wanted:

When I went over to pick the dress I was in absolute AWE of how beautiful it was.
Infact I sent Jane a picture wearing her dress, like I could be doing what the Monica & Phoebe did:

Now, Fred....
......................was travelling. He emailed me an image of the suit he wanted.
Fred made squiggly lines over all the places he wanted the embroidery to be:
His exact words in the email:

Imagine my horror when I went over to pick HIS outfit, my unsuspecting soul was pretty much RUSHED TO THE ER:
"What?? I thought that's the design they wanted" The tailor innocently murmured over the nurses' efforts to revive me.
I would like to take a moment here to point out the e.x.a.c.t. Level of Hell I was experiencing:
Fred did not make identical doodles on each sleeve so the TAILOR DID NOT EMBROIDER IDENTICAL DESIGNS ON EACH SLEEVE EITHER.
Oh
the
PTSD
Sigh, long story short... tedious con work to undo the original "design", a discrete patch over, constant threats & two visits to Consumer Rights later, Jane did not look like she married the noodle whisperer:
P.S.: In typical father-of-the-bride fashion, Jane's dad was rather glad about the mishap!
Nice work :) Did actually make the dress? That is so cool and better than the original.
