Well... I'm japanese steemian and I'm trying to write articles in bilingual(Jpn&Eng). It takes so long time to make it but not sure how many people find my post and read my post.
But keep doing this since I participated in steemit last month, I'm getting tired of this... I think this is not only me, many Japanese trying to make post Jpn n English, but not so many foreign people support Japanese post.
Of course we, Japanese people need brush up our article to attractive one, I think everyone knows that. But first of all, the number of people who come to steemit is small amount because of non Japaneseization. It takes long process to just start steemit, especially who doesn't have any friend who is doing steemit.
Sure, of course I also feel Japanese community need to start contest or some event or... but there's not so many players here. That's because there's high barrier to just " start steemit" because of "language" issue.
As @yoshiko mentioned, I also really wish "Japaneseization" of steemit then more people comes in and if Japanese steemian start getting money, it becomes more active community. If not... another platform like ALIS will spread from Japan to.... may be all over the world.
I've already know many steemians already support Japanese community, we appreciate that, but I wish more steemians give us a little more attention and support for our community. thank you.
Thank you !!! It is together with what I am thinking. I do not speak English. So, I spend a lot of time to make such a post. That is a serious problem not only by me but by many Japanese people.
Even if Japanese writes a wonderful article in Japanese, it has serious problems that will not be voted. When I see it I feel very sad.Steemit is supposed to be VOTE on a good article ...
May our wishes reach Steemit!!!
"Japaneseization" is such a weird sounding word. LOL
Really hope the current japanese community can stay at steemit and continue to grow bigger. I will be very sad if japanese steemians decide to move to other platform like ALIS...
Then again, fully agree that language is still a huge barrier. But with volunteers like yourself who can help to do some translations, I think it will make things easier :) I think having cross-community games/contest is helpful to bring out exposure. As I started to create the singapore community (there's only about 20 members currently), I been eagerly trying to create interaction and tie up some activities with the Malaysia community (they have close to 1000 members). I know the new singapore community will have a hard time as we have no whales or dolphins (this is similar situation with #japanese).
oh! hahaha thank you for let us know...
yeah... I think even English speaking people also difficult to get attractive on steemit... so how we non-English speakers can get good position from now?
Anyway thank you for your comment and please keep touching with Jpns community... Arigato!
