Later on today many uninformed people with partially or totally lose their vision in America. Please read on and prevent this for yourself and spread this news to as many people as you can through resteem and posting in Facebook, and emails.
Monday, August 21, 2017 (later on today), all parts of North America will have an opportunity of a lifetime to see a total eclipse. Anyone in the whole path can see one of the most amazing sights of nature - a full eclipse. This route, the moon will completely cover the sun and on the sun's atmosphere - corona - can be seen.
The total eclipse can be seen from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. The observer outside this path will still see part of the solar eclipse, the moon covering part of the sun disk.
When looking at the eclipse you MUST wear ISO 12312-2 international safety standard glasses.
Normally we cannot stare at the sun as it is too bright, but in this awesome display of nature, the light is less intense and we will want tend to stare for longer. But even a fraction of the sun disc even at the beginning of the moon's passing will cause permanent damage to the retina, thus removing partial or total vision permanently depending on how long one stares at the sun.
Of you cannot get these glasses in time, please look at a live stream on the internet or use a pinhole camera. But DO NOT STARE AT THE SUN.
Please pass this on and prevent this from happening to anyone. There are many that have no idea that this will happen and many have no idea what to do. Save someone's eyes are pass on this message.
