Did Ronald Opus jump off a building in 1994's most bizarre suicide ?

in #life7 years ago

On march 23, 1994. A medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and confirmed that the man had died from a shotgun wound to the head. While he was shot, Opus was in the process of jumping from the top of a ten-story building with the intention to commit suicide. He left a note to the effect indicating his feelings. As he fell past the ninth floor of the building, his life was interrupted by a shotgun bullet passing through a window, which immediately killed him. However, neither the shooter nor Opus knew that a safety net had been put in just below the eighth floor level to keep some building workers safe. Basically, Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned that day.

Further investigation led to the discovery that the room on the 9th floor from whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. He was threatening her with the shotgun because of an interspousal spat and became so upset that he could not hold the shotgun straight. Therefore, when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking the decedent.

So the old man is the killer. The safety net could have saved Ronald's life from suicide. When he was charged with murdering the old man, he used to threaten his wife with murder, and he always thought the gun was free of any shells. Had already seen the son of the old men, a few weeks ago stuffed pistol shot. It was also found that the wife of the old woman had already cut off the financial aid for their son and that their son had conspired with his parents by stuffing the pistol with bullets, and was aware that his father had usually threatened to kill his mother with that empty pistol.

If he carries out his threat once, he will get rid of his mother and his father with one blow. Since the son's intention was to kill, he became involved in the crime, even if he didn't press the trigger, and here the charge of murder from father to son was changed to murder by Ronald Opus.

The other surprise was that the son who was accused of murder was the assassin, who put the bullet in the pistol for his father to kill his mother and when his father was late in carrying out his feast. Due to the deterioration of his physical condition he decided to commit suicide from the roof of the building to meet him the bullet fired by his father so it is the murderer and the dead at the same time and considered the case suicide and closed his file ...
