We have started a campaign that aims to protect everything on this earth and create awareness about it. At the beginning of this month, we thought that we would choose a theme that aims to protect this universe and protect the various things present here. First of all, we chose water because water is our main need and we cannot survive without water. We started this campaign in school and included children of every class and level in it. Today was the last day of our campaign, but when we carefully reviewed it, we saw that we have succeeded in our campaign with a high percentage because the children not only learned in school how to protect water, but we also trained the children to go home and tell their parents, their loved ones and in their area how to protect water and save water from wasting it because water is our very important need. Without water, we cannot survive or flourish because unless water is protected, We humans, this universe will not be safe because everything on this earth, no matter what it is related to, such as animals, birds, plants, life, and everything that is alive, needs water. We have carried out and completed this mission with great success.

To make this campaign successful, we put the burden on the students to determine how they should carry out the campaign to save water and what activities should be carried out so that the message could reach the people in a better way. All the students gave their opinions very well and the students of each class carried out the activities in different ways. The most active thing was that many slogans were made on different banners and many texts were written about water and then these banners were raised and presented to the people in the form of a campaign. Similarly, the children told ways not to waste water. If we are brushing our teeth in the morning, then the water that is broken in our water tap continues to flow. The children said that whenever we brush our teeth in the morning and in the evening, we should not waste the water that is there, but rather turn off the water. Use the least amount of water while bathing and when watering the plants, the water should be given to the plants as much as they need. There is a need because sometimes farmers leave water in the fields but forget to turn off the water, so water is wasted. It was also encouraged to improve the sewage system, as water is also being wasted through the sewage system. Then, the children suggested making large dams to save rainwater so that when it rains, the water will collect in these reservoirs and then in this way, that water will not be absorbed quickly in the ground. Similarly, there are many ways in which water can be saved. The children worked very well on all these topics. As a teacher and leader, I have been very impressed by this campaign and I will try to continue this campaign to save water in the coming year or every three months so that water is not wasted, but rather water is available when needed.

The Government of Punjab has announced that an emergency should be imposed in the areas where groundwater is decreasing. There are many areas around us that are mountainous and groundwater is decreasing. Due to this, water is not available to the public. The government has announced that in order to save water and to explain its usefulness, many steps should be taken in every area and every city and village to save water because people are wasting a lot of water and there are many reasons for wasting water. Service stations have opened in our city and every city where cars are washed and a lot of water is used to wash these cars. There are also many areas where people are using water indiscriminately. When farmers release water into the fields, they do not turn off the water all night. In this way, water flows from the fields to the desert. The water of this canal is also being wasted and the water of the river is also being wasted. When it rains, there is no way to conserve water, rather the water is wasted and when it does not rain, there is a shortage of water. Thus, this campaign is going on all over Punjab and we have started this campaign from our school and I am very satisfied and I hope you will also give importance to this effort of mine and appreciate it.

Here I would also like to tell you that there has been no rain in my city this year and due to lack of rain, the groundwater has decreased a lot and the water pumps can no longer pump water up because the water level has gone down a lot, which is why there is a risk of water shortage. Therefore, if we do not take urgent measures to save water now, it is not far off that wars over water will start because there are often areas where the water is being consumed and is not even drinkable. Salty water is not drunk, but rather it is very salty. So, to save fresh water reserves, I would like to request all of you through this article to save water and not waste it too much. Use only as much water as you need and if you use more than necessary, then the time is not far when we will not have water when we need it. Since salt water is increasing and those areas are also suffering from salt water, which has been there for 20 years. Previously, there was fresh water, so we have to preserve the freshwater reserves so that our generations can benefit from this water.

During this campaign, we noted the points where a lot of water is wasted. First of all, farmers waste water by releasing water into the crops through tube wells. Since the water from the tube well is taken underground, when they water the crops, they apply water indiscriminately and apply a lot of water. In this way, they do not protect the water channels and the channels through which the water reaches the fields keep leaking out and water is wasted due to this leakage. Secondly, shops have been built everywhere in every city to wash cars and transport and a lot of water is used while washing these cars and water is wasted. In this way, factories and large factories release chemical water into the canals and when that chemical water goes underground, it turns the fresh water salty and damages the fresh water reserves. Then there is no adequate way to save the rainwater. When it rains, the water is wasted, whereas saving this water is Water should be conserved during the winter season because when the summer season begins, there is a shortage of water available underground and the water level goes down due to which farmers cannot water their crops through tube wells because there is a shortage of underground water. In this way, water is used a lot in homes and water is also wasted in homes. When we pour water into a glass to drink, we fill the glass too much without any reason and then drink half of the water, then we throw away the water that is left in the glass. In this way, water is being wasted everywhere and we have to try to save water by eliminating these sources wherever water is being wasted.

Save water. If we save water, we understand that we save lives. If there is no water, these lives will be destroyed. Humans will continue to fight for water. Let us run a campaign to save water at every level and everywhere. In this, we have to join hands and run such a campaign that every household and every individual becomes aware that saving water is very important. If we do not work on this issue with interest today, future generations will never forgive us because when we waste water, our future generations will not be able to benefit from this water because there will be a shortage of water for them and that shortage will have happened because of our lack of understanding and those generations will remember us in very wrong words. If we want our future generations to be safe and prosperous, then we have to take this issue forward with interest today and save water and discourage all those measures that waste water. Rather, we have to encourage those measures that save water.

You and I all know that saltwater is increasing underground and freshwater reserves are decreasing. When we waste water, our saltwater reserves increase and our freshwater reserves decrease. So we have to conserve freshwater and it is very important to take all these steps to conserve freshwater.

The purpose of my writing today is only one thing: we have to save water and we have to save lives. If there is water, then our lives will also survive. If water is not preserved and there is a shortage of water, then this life will die with a sigh. Animals, birds, plants and every living thing needs water and that need will be fulfilled only when water is preserved. The purpose of my writing today is to preserve water and take this campaign forward. Let's join this campaign with my students and make water safe. If we want to preserve underground water, then for this it is very important that we have to preserve rainwater and install such bore systems that whenever there is rainwater, it goes underground through these bores and not be wasted. In addition, we have to go to these stations in our area and city where cars are washed and explain to people that they should use minimum water to wash their cars. As a citizen, as an individual, as a student. Knowledge As a businessman, whenever you open the tap for water, water will continue to be wasted. Understand that you are wasting water. You have to use minimum water. When taking a bath, brushing your teeth, washing your hands, you have to use less water on all these occasions. And if you leave the water running in the bathroom without need, then you are also doing this wrong. We use water everywhere, but we do not think that whenever we use water for consumption, a lot of water is wasted without using it. So let's save water.
