Venezuela cuenta con una variedad de lugares que la hacen ser un atractivo turístico peculiar. Un día puedes estar en una hermosa playa cubierto de sol y agua salada, y al siguiente en un viaje a las montañosas más frías de Venezuela y llenas de energía que puedas conocer.
Venezuela has a variety of places that make it look like a pretty peculiar tourist attraction. One day you can be on a beautiful beach covered with sun and salt water, and the next you can make a wonderful trip to the coldest mountain peaks in Venezuela and full of positive energy you can know.
Ubicado en el estado Miranda, El bosque de Pinos es una pequeña zona del parque nacional Macarao, el mismo se ha convertido en un ecosistema poco común debido a la inserción de especies no autóctonas en el territorio, tales como el pino y el eucalipto. Estas especies han estado presente desde mediados de los años 70, cuando un grupo de ecologistas en conjunto con el gobierno nacional de aquella época decidieron realizar este experimento lo cual dio como resultado un espacio completamente diferente al clima tropical que le rodea.
Located in the state of Miranda, the Pine Forest is a small area of Macarao National Park, it has become a rare ecosystem due to the insertion of non-native species in the territory, such as pine and eucalyptus. These species have been present since the mid-1970s when a group of ecologists in conjunction with the national government of that time decided to conduct this experiment which resulted in a space completely different from the tropical climate that surrounds it.

Para llegar a este hermoso espacio natural basta con hacer una corta ruta compuesta de: viaje en subterráneo, autobús, caminata. La misma inicia en la ciudad de Los Teques, específicamente en la estación Ali Primera en donde posteriormente tomarás un autobús hasta el poblado de San Pedro y allí iniciar el ascenso hasta el parque nacional, un viaje cuya duración no es mayor a las 4 horas.
To get to this beautiful natural space it is enough to do a short route composed of: subway trip, bus, walk. It starts in the city of Los Teques, specifically in the Ali Primera station where you will later take a bus to the town of San Pedro and there begin the ascent to the national park, a trip whose duration does not exceed 4 hours.
El espacio cuenta con diversidad de zonas de camping, suelos cubiertos de vegetación, agua y caminerias. Para acampar solo debes comunicarte en el puesto de guardaparques en la entrada del bosque y anunciar tu llegada.
El parque nacional Macarao se extiende por los estados Aragua, Miranda y Vargas siendo el Bosque de Pinos una parte del mismo y funcionando como un importante pulmón vegetal de la zona mirandina.
The space has a diversity of camping areas, soils covered with vegetation, water and hiking trails. To camp you only have to communicate at the ranger station at the entrance of the forest and announce your arrival.
Macarao National Park extends through the states of Aragua, Miranda and Vargas, the Pine Forest being part of it and functioning as an important plant lung in the Mirandina area.

When I think of Venezuela I usually think of sandy beaches and crystal clear sea. I didn't know that you have such beautiful forests there. It looks like in Europe :) How many nights did you stay there? It looks like a peaceful place - perfect for camping. Are there any wild animals in the forest or you can sleep without worrying?
