Gently I go,

As silently I came;

Quietly I wave good-bye,

To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

The riverside,

Is the setting sun the bride;

Sparkling in the colourful shadow,

Always linger in the depth of my heart.

Green weed in soft clay,

Two, greasy in an underwater;

In Cambridge, Cambridge,

I would be a water plant!

The one under an elm tree that shaded them from the pool.

Is not a clear spring,

Is a rainbow in the sky Is the sediment,

The sediment of a rainbow-like dream.

Dreams? Through a long,

The roving through places greener than green grass,

With a ship splendor,

In starlight.

But I can't sing aloud,

Quietly is the separation of sheng flute;

Even summer insects heep silence for me,

Silent is Cambridge tonight!

Silently I go,

As silently I came;

I wave my sleeves,

Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away.
