Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to do a sort of update post, and let everyone know what all is going on this Month. There are plans that will change my ability to produce content for the better.
PC Upgrades
Next week, I will finally be able to afford to get a new cpu for my computer, and with this, I'll also be upgrading my motherboard. I already upgraded my video card to a 1060, and it just wasn't enough. I gained some frames, but I am still unable to stream the games that I want to stream.
I currently have an AMD FX-8120 "Eight-Core" cpu. I put that in quotes, because there are rumors that it only uses 4 cores. bleh. It's also a cpu that was manufactured in 2011-2012, so it is probably just time to upgrade. I'll be switching to Intel, because Intel is just better.
Upgrades = Content
With these upgrades, I will be able to stream all of the games that I enjoy! I'll be streaming a lot of VRChat and probably some more CS:GO. This will also allow me to take replay buffers, and make some awesome videos. I was able to do all of this before, but switching to Windows 10 seems to have affected my performance. I'll be glad to be able to stream with no worries about what I'm able to actually play.
I'm not sure if I will run into any problems while upgrading next week (you never know) but I'll keep everyone updated. I'll have to reinstall Windows, and make sure I don't lose any important files. Twitch has an app, but I don't think there is one for DLive yet.
I've got some videos on my DLive channel, and a few failed broadcasts (because my PC couldn't handle them), and I'll at least be posting some videos on there until I get my upgrades next week. :]
Anyways, this is all pretty much good news, and I just wanted to give people a heads up that my power down is going to good use, and is basically an investment into being able to share more content on here!
