So we were in the other town the other day for many things - to visit my papa-in-law, a dentist appointment (which was rescheduled for next week because the doctor was away for a medical outreach), to catch the ongoing festival, pick up my brother's two girls, and then go home to the other house at my parents.
However, we spent most of the afternoon in the hardware store waiting for some stuff to be delivered, so when we arrived at the town proper, the festivities for the day were over. My two niblings enjoyed their time with their friends, they only came to our rendezvous point when it was almost dark.
Well, at least the weather yesterday was nice and warm, so driving home late was okay. Today, the rain was plenty, and it came way too early at 9:30 am — certainly a wet and cold weekend up here in the mountains that we did nothing but sleep. Aah, what a perfect way to spend a dreary day, lol! But it was needed because Mom hadn't had a shut eye last night, and I barely slept. The rain was, perhaps, nature's lullaby for us to have a peaceful snooze during the day. What a bliss, and my heart is grateful.🙏
Anyhow, it's Saturday and time for our SSC tradition. Here are my numbers for week 10 of the year.

The monthly interest for the Savings was 15.816 HBD, which added to the week's 2.83% growth. It's not a life-changing amount of money, but it's better than nothing. As they say, slow and steady wins the race, so we will try to keep it going. No rush, no pressure. This is turning out to be a fun activity.😊
Meanwhile, the sats grew by 8.58% in the last seven days, which might not be too significant in the current times, but it will be in the future. The crypto market is ruthless, but we shall keep stacking sats (albeit in tiny amounts) and making adjustments where necessary.
And just a side note, it was nice to see my staked HIVE slowly crawling toward the 25k mark.
While I have not specified it in my goals for the year, I intend to continue growing it while I can. It would be thrilling to have at least 27k before the year ends. Until then, let's keep showing up, no matter the weather🌦🌤☔️
