"conjured a spell to communicate with people living far away" - really funny. I imagine this is how technology nowadays would look like for people who lived 2-3 centuries ago.

Right?? I'm glad you thought of it the same way haha! Aircraft as dragons, smartphones as magical tablets. Magic is only science that is currently unexplained. In a few years time, people of the future are going to think of us as so primitive as well haha!

yeah. wish I could live to see all the tech marvels that will be invented. I do hope that humanity doesn't get too lost inside the virtual worlds they so desperately try to create. and there's also the AI thing. did you listen to Elon Musk saying that trying to create AI is similar to summoning a demon? Funny, but it gets you thinking. all one can do is marvel at the unbelievable progress that was made since the dark ages. ok, the reply got too long. thanks !

Haha! Oh that Elon Musk ... I'm actually a Software Engineer, and I majored in Artificial Intelligence back in college. Sure, there are merits to the fears, but sometimes it's all overblown. As long as programmers maintain responsibility, there won't be any possibility of Skynet or whatever robopocalypse in the near future haha I mean, who creates a war machine without a backdoor shutdown, right? Haha! It's all in how it's constructed. If creators don't think of contingencies for the possibilities of their creations, then they shouldn't be creating them in the first place.

Don't worry about long replies :) I'm guilty of those on a regular basis haha!
