I watched and listened to the falling rain.
Unsure if it was unleashing it's wet blessings or crying again.
Sometimes the skies would open up and let out drops full of serenity.
But on most days, dark grey clouds would squeeze out huge drops with ferocity.

Was it natural rain?
Was it the thirst on the land she was trying to quench?.
Was mother nature crying from sheer sadness to see all her resources going down the drain?
Was she trying to wash away the the people's arrogance and greedy stench?

When the rains came, the people were glad.
But it was all cries when the ground could no longer soak up the endless drops bringing havoc and floods.
Those so called weather experts would say, "It's torrential rains, flash floods..." but I knew better.
But did they know that? When will we get wiser?

Tomorrow maybe the clouds would gather or scatter.
The rain would fall or maybe the sun would shine.
We will think we are very smart when we bask underneath her bright sunny eye or wear our raincoats, boots and carry an umbrella talking about the weather with useless flatter.
Consciously/unconsciously ignoring that she's not fine.

It's not rain! They're tears disguised as rain.
She was letting go of her hurt and pain.
She is sending a message.
A message that not too many want to acknowledge.
