I still believe that every highschool student should kill, clean and cook a chicken as part of the highschool experience.
Besides it being important life saving skill, it teaches everyone an instant respect for where food comes from, and what it takes to get it to their dinner plate.
Yes indeed, I've hear you state that before. I bet there would be far less nibbling and off to the garbage with the rest of it if people had a better grasp on things.
