How I joined Steemit

I first heard about steemit from a church member @samstickkz during and evangelism exercise in church. I wasn't keen about it at first but I had made up my mind to give it try. Not long afterwards on the 30th of December 2017, another brother in church @basonrich talked to me again about steemit. So I became very keen to know what this steemit was all about that my brothers in church wants me to be a part of. After much counseling I joined this platform. As my confusion became clear i had an indepth understanding of what steemit is all about. My name is ememabasi godwin, a citizen on Nigeria and an indigene of Akwa Ibom state. I am a fresh graduate from the University of Uyo where i studied Agricultural Economics and Extenstion. I enjoy making new friends, meeting new people from different socio economic and cultural background. I am a very productive individual as am into fashion design and catering services while I await my service year
To me, steemit is an avenue of expanding ones horizon and intellectual capacity. I have seen so much amazing write ups that are so motivating and inspiring and to think they are coming from young people around the globe is amazing and exciting.
Aside the fact that you are being paid, steemit is an opportunity for self development, self discovery, and above all self love.
I must say that it has been huge and my zeal to widen my intellectual capacity and ability has increased drastically. My thanks goes to the steemit community. I am still getting to understand this platform.... I am open to teachings and guidance... I love you and keep steeming
